 IPcall-200:
1. The unit was working previously, but now it does not work after unplugged the LAN cable which was used it for other PC device connection temporarily and then, the LAN cable did replug into the phone already. An error text on the second row is displayed

"SPI Register Failed".

* Follow the steps below to resolve the issue:

a. Unplug both main Power and the LAN cable.

b. After 1minute, main power is back ON firstly until to see ' WAN Disconnect". Press the DOWN key of the navigator for "Negotiate" appearing.

c. Plug LAN cable to the WAN port. After 5 seconds, a calendar will be displayed. Now the unit is ready to work.

2. I am a new user. After done for all necessary connections, I can not make any calls. "Hand Up" does always appear after each dialing. An error text on the second row is displayed

"WAN disconnected".

*********************************

* The "text" is telling you that the phone did not detect an existing network. Some of the following issues might cause this problem:

a.  Either one end of the LAN cable was unplugged.

b.  Plugged into a wrong port on a modem. (Assume the networking is not used with a DHCP router, a box you seem might be a multi-media modem which was supplied by your ISP normally. There are a few RJ-45 Jacks look like LAN ports, but actually they are reserved for multi-media upgraded services future). Please consult a computer technician for the case.

c. The end to the phone was plugged incorrectly into the LAN port of the phone. It must be plugged into the WAN.

b. Be sure you can access to internet for viewing web-site through a Laptop with the same LAN cable firstly.

3. I am a new user. After done for all necessary connections, I can not make any calls. "Hand Up" does always appear after each dialing. An error text on the second row is displayed

"SPI Register Failed".

*********************************

* Check your current networking if it is using an ADSL modem. For office user, you need to check if you are using Static IP to access internet. If YES, you need to download a proper manual for either Modem user or Static IP user.

If you do prove it is a Broadband Router, further checks are required:

a. Open the router setup page with a browser to check the DHCP server address that it should not be allowed as 192.168.10.1

b. Push the DOWN key of navigator once, you will see DHCP and IP addresses for this unit and the server. Otherwise, someone did a wrong setting in the MENU previously. You need to download the manual for the DHCP user.

4. "SPI Register Failed" is still staying on LCD. How can I  verify my networking that belongs to ADSL Modem or DHCP router?  *********************************

* Normally, if there are more than two PC working in the same network, or you have a netbook PC to use WiFi in same network, the broadband box is a router.

In case you have only one PC to access internet in your network and only one box can be seem between wall jack and PC, it may be a modem.

5. The unit was working well previously, but now it does not call out for any phone no even Freecall no. after one time the internet network shut down accidentally. "Hand Up" does always appear immediately after each dialing. But LCD does show a CALENDAR correctly and can able to receive a Freecall incoming     *********************************

* To fix this problem, just simply to unplug the main Power and back ON, then press "#" and hold it immediately until a text " POST MODE" appear. Then turn OFF power and reboot again.
